BIOGRAPHY OF NANCY BEACH
Nancy grew up in the church youth group that launched Willow
Creek in Park Ridge, Illinois. She was a high school student
at the time, and participated in that ministry mostly through
drama. Shortly after Willow Creek began, Nancy joined the team
as an active lay leader.
Nancy has a degree in Radio and Television from Southern
Illinois University and a Master of Arts from Wheaton Graduate
School. She joined the Willow Creek staff full time in 1985
as the Programming director. Nancy and her team oversee all
aspects of the services and special events other than the
speaker’s message. The areas of ministry include music drama,
dance, photography, production, video and design. Nancy's
passion is to create opportunities for artists in the church
to use their gifts in effective ministry.
Nancy also uses her teaching gifts periodically at weekend and
mid-week services, and casts vision for unleashing the arts at
conferences sponsored by the willow Creek Association. Nancy
lives in Barrington with her husband Warren and her two
daughters, Samantha and Johanna.
