The
Crucible I
Each weekly session of The Crucible consists of solid teaching from
an assortment of gifted teachersartists and non-artistswho
challenge, instruct, and encourage. Built into the 12-week course
are opportunities for interaction and ministry to each other. The
course includes a weekend getaway, as well as occasions for creative
ministry and expression.
The
Crucible II
This second level course for alumni of Crucible I directs its focus
to the relationship of the arts and culture. Students are challenged
to rethink their belief systems and how those belief systems affect
their art, as well as their interaction with culture.
Seminars
We offer a number of one-time events, which are organized to feed
the creative community with constructive input on pertinent topics.
Our seminars are often open to the public.
Multiplication
Nashville is by no means the only city that wields a powerful cultural
influence through the arts. It is our desire to network with key
people in every artistic and cultural center, and out of this network
to partner with those to whom God leads us in order to see believing
artists equipped with a stronger sense of purpose and a perspective
of the Kingdom of God.
October 2002 saw the launching of just such a ministry in Paris,
called La Fonderie.
Intensives
July 2005 will see the first ever Crucible Summer Intensive in Nashville. Click here for more info.
If you are interested
in the possibility of hosting a weekend or four-day intensive, e-mail
us. Also let us know if you are interested in developing a long-term
Crucible chapter in your city.
